A wealth of experience

I began counselling/psychotherapy work some 20 years ago with individuals and groups in the workplace. For 15 years I was a senior counsellor and assessor with Gloucestershire’s largest counselling agency. I spent 6 years working for one of the major UK employee assistance providers (EAPs), assessing and counselling employees. Today I work in private practice mostly with clients who refer themselves. Others are referred by GP’s, EAPs and private medical insurance companies.

A quiet, easily accessible location

My counselling room is in the easily accessed village of Coates; 5 minutes drive from Cirencester, 15 minutes from Stroud and from Tetbury, and 30 minutes from Burford, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Swindon.

An ethical practice

I was have been awarded Senior Accreditation by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics. I am also a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor/Psychotherapist, a BACP Workplace Member, and a Member of BACP Spirituality.
My training and study has been in a variety of settings, the early years mostly with Gloucestershire Counselling Service where I gained my Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, and received a Graduate Award in Psychodynamic Counselling. I am also a qualified counselling supervisor.
